Hello, and happy Friday!
These past few weeks have just whizzed by (whiz…what a great word.) Funny how that always seem happens in the summertime when the weather, and mood, is right. AmIright? Ben and I had some friends over last night for our first official grill out in the new house. My Mom and I have been landscaping like mad women in anticipation (and have the itchy scrapes from weed-pulling to prove it!) but it was all totally worth it. The backyard is really shaping up nicely. : )
This weekend we’ve got some really great plans on the agenda…light bulb shopping! I wish I was kidding. There are a ton of outdoor lanterns and spotlights in the new house, and many have burnt out. Got to collect then replace them all before baby comes and light bulbs are the farthest thing from our minds!
With that, I hope you’ve got some fun plans for the weekend and in the meantime, please enjoy my favorite finds from around the web and beyond in this week’s Friday Favorites!

Favorite wow: Chocolate Baileys Mud Cake. Ohmyheavens! I would devour each and every single slice of this wonderful, chocolaty, baileys-spiked mud cake!
Favorite find: West Elm Sloan Upholstered Chair. This is exactly the type of chair I’m looking to put into the new family room. Love the pattern swatches you can choose from, too.
Favorite meal: Enchilada Rice. Fabulous take on classic enchiladas. I know I would absolutely love this skillet supper.
Favorite product: Cuppow Bnto Jar Lunchbox Adapters. New from Cuppow, mini cups that fit inside the lids of mason jars! Great for filling with peanut butter to dip carrots or celery, salad dressing for a salad, or hummus for crackers. BPA-free and fits any wide-mouthed mason jar. Love it!
Favorite fresh: Watermelon Caprese Salad. What a fun, refreshing take on the classic caprese salad. I’ve seen a few sweet spins on it lately – most notably with peaches and watermelon – which all look mouthwatering.
Favorite healthy: Blueberry Pie Yogurt Parfaits. Just a few ingredients needed to make this stunning, healthy dessert.
Favorite furball. Do dee doh… What a lover!
Favorite wake up: Coffee Cake with Crumble Topping and Brown Sugar Glaze. I tried this iced coffee drink with honey and brown sugar earlier this week (Sweet Georgia Brown from Smokey Row!) and am now obsessed with all things brown sugar. This looks DIVINE!
Favorite dip: Summer Corn and Cotija Cheese Dip. I’m pretty sure – nay, I know – I wouldn’t be able to keep my paws outta this dip. Corn + cheese = love.
Favorite remix: The Best Guacamole You’ll Ever Have. Speaking of dips I wouldn’t be able to stop eating – let’s hear it for this mango and pomegranate-laced guacamole. YES!
Favorite DIY: Dinosaur Serving Dish. This DIY serving dish cracked me up sideways. Will totally be busting it out for my son in the future.
Favorite mmm: Beet Ravioli with Goat Cheese Ricotta and Mint Filling. I don’t know what I love more – the beautiful, deep-crimson color of the beet ravioli, or clever filling inside. Must try.
Favorite sip: Sparkling Lavender Lemonade. I love the story behind this lovely, sparkling lavender lemonade. I love the sounds of it even more. Say it with me…sparkling. Mmm!
Favorite frozen: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream Pie. Be still my cookie dough-loving heart!
Happy weekend, everyone!

Such great shares this week!! I love reading through these post every friday!
Love this post! Just FYI sparkling is spelled wrong in the picture- no big, but you might want to fix!
Imagine my surprise to scroll down see my enchilada rice in your Friday Favorites! Thanks for the love. I’m very flattered. Good luck with the yard work!
There are some really great ideas in your post today. I had been wanting to make real lemonade for a while. I picked some lemons up today and went by the recipe without the lavender as I don’t have any and I couldn’t wait for some lemonade! I ended up adding 3 cups of regular water since my husband can’t stand anything fizzy. (I don’t know what is wrong with him!) Just 1 cup was way too sweet and tart. Especially with so much sugar in that simple syrup. Can’t wait to try it with lavender.
I forgot to add something! Sorry! I poured myself a glass and smashed some raspberries in it and topped it off with just a splash of sparkling water and it tastes amazing!
