How fitting that today, the official first day of Fall, is the first day I saw my breath on my morning walk – ahh!

Coupled with this week’s chillier temps is the undeniably beautiful rainbow of colors that tree leaves all over the city have turned into, seemingly overnight. Fluttering to the ground and audibly crunching underfoot. ‘Tis the season! Here are this week’s favorite finds from around the web.

Highlight coming up this weekend- me and my Hubbie Sean’s first year anniversary :D! We have a free hotel room from our wedding package, so we are going to a good friends bbq nearby, then having cocktail’s at the hotel’s fancy lounge . We did not save the top tier of our wedding cake (instead we served it), so I am recreating this tonight (Red Velvet with cream cheese frosting), as well as white chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. Sooo excited :D

I have that bread in my recipes to try board on Pinterest! lol. Another great one like it on there is Bloomin’ Onion Bread. I made that last week and it was sinfully delicious. Hmm, the highlight of my week would have to be that my 3 older children have gotten along quite well, the baby has been pretty content, I have cooked a lot of great meals in the Crockpot, and hmmm, basically been a nice mellow week!

Say positive and enjoy your time off! That’s what I kept telling myself when I was laid off for 14 months. I went back to school and got my masters and hit the gym almost every day! Now I have a job I love and can only look back as it being a good thing that happened to me.
