My favorite part of 2010 was a trip my mom took out to Los Angeles to visit me. She is such a big part of my life but I don’t get to see her that often since she lives in Denver. It was great spending quality time together.

By the way, your classic mac & cheese recipe changed the way I make mac and cheese. I use it as the basis for all my mac & cheese dishes now! :)

The best part of 2010 was being able to send my boys to a school that teaches to their abilities vs. to the test. That has made all the difference in how much they are able to progress and how much they love going to school!

My favorite part of 2010 was passing my securities licensing exam. That 6-hour exam and the many many hours spent preparing for it REALLY stressed me out and when I passed it, a huge weight was lifted. I am so excited for what 2011 has in store – including trying out those new LaraBars – I LOVE blueberry muffins. Happy New Year!
