French 75 Champagne Cocktails are made with just four ingredients - no specialty liqueurs or mixers needed! Enjoy for any occasion.

If you like champagne (my people!) then you’re going to adore your favorite bubbles spiked with fresh lemon juice, gin and simple syrup, aka a French 75 Champagne Cocktail.
I can’t get over how easy – both in preparation and drinkability – these fizzy sippers are which call for just 4 ingredients and no fancy liqueurs nor mixers.
French 75 Champagne Cocktail
First of all, champagne. Nothing better than a glass of bubbles. And yes, I call it champs, but I’ll spare you and only use that word here once. The remaining three ingredients?
Gin, simple syrup (sugar water, y’all,) and fresh lemon juice.
French 75 Champagne Cocktails are incredibly refreshing and light. Crisp, bright, not too sweet (if you like Lemon Drop Martinis but think they’re a touch too sweet, you’ll down a French 75,) and just a hint of something fun on account of the gin.
These yummy cocktails are fun and easy enough to serve at any party or get-together, but they’d be especially fun to share with your sweetie or gal pals this Valentine’s Day. Let me know if you give them a try!
Like I said – couldn’t be simpler!
To a cocktail shaker add gin, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup. I like both Tanqueray and Hendrick’s gin for this recipe!
Fill the cocktail shaker 3/4 of the way up with ice then put the lid on top and shake until very, very chilled, 15-20 seconds.
Strain the cocktail into champagne glasses then top with brut champagne or prosecco. Add a twist of lemon peel if you’re feeling fancy, then sip away!
I hope you love this easy and delicious cocktail recipe — CHEERS!

Oh! My! Goddess! This was such a divine cocktail – definitely fancy bar quality. I used Bollinger & a quality Vietnam gin (yes, we do have them), Song Cai, and made it for my wife’s birthday. We are in love. A dangerous affair…
Yummm – I’m so glad you enjoyed, Lise!!
I use Cognac and Cointreau in place of simple syrup. New found love!! :)
This sounds delicious. I love in France, but I rarely drink cocktails, over here for me its a kir cassis before dinner, if we are at a restaurant, or a G and T if at home. BTW, my husband lived in the UK for much of his life, and they call Champagne, “fizz!” We’ve been trying all sorts of different gin when at out holiday apartment in the UK, and there is one called something like “Three Monkeys” that we love. But it is so expensive, we usually stick to Tanqueray. Just bought some sparkling at a “cave” nearby called “Monmousseau” and there is a bag of lemons in the fridge, so……
I looooooove French 75s! On more than one occasion I’ve mixed up a pitcher for large group gatherings and everyone else seems to feel the same way. Bubbles, with a kick?, and not too sweet? Count. Me. In.
Yeah, Kristen! I’m a bubbles kinda gal, too. FYI – Trader Joe’s is currently carrying (in AZ anyway) a nice, inexpensive brut called North Coast ($9.99) – fairly dry & should work well in this recipe. I’m going to try it Friday evening!
We have tickets to see jersey boys next month be will be staying in downtown Des Moines for a Couple of nights. Can you give the name of the bar that serves this cocktail? THanks!
Fun!! It’s called Roca and it’s on Court Ave. Their food is awesome too!
Me love some bubbles too, cheers!! Gorgeous drink and I can’t stop looking at that perfectly cut lemon rind garnish :)
This is one of my favorite cocktails! So excited to (easily) make these at home now. Thank you!
As a Tom Collins lover (the drink, not a dude named Tom Collins), this sounds right up my alley! Going to try it!
Let me know what you think, Kristin! :)
My very favorite drink :)
