Sunrise Smoothie is a fresh and healthy smoothie recipe to get any morning off to a good start!

Grab your shades (and your appetite!) for a vitamin-packed Sunrise Smoothie!

This tropical-tasting smoothie combines the antioxidant power of frozen berries with a blast of vitamin C from a whole orange, a punch of potassium from a frozen banana, and staying power from protein-packed Greek yogurt.
It tastes like a vacation in a glass, and is the perfect way to wake up.
Clocking in at around 350 calories with 3 grams of fat, 11 grams of fiber, and 14 grams of protein (depending on how big your fruit it, and the yogurt brand you choose) this smoothie is as healthy as it is TOTALLY SUCK WORTHY.
Which is a good thing — when you’re talking about a smoothie anyway. ;)

This thick and frosty smoothie could not be easier to make, either. Start with a high powdered blender — I love my Blendtec.

To the blender jar add 1 cup organic frozen berries, and 1 frozen banana.
- Tip: Always slice yours bananas before freezing — whole, frozen bananas are impossible to blend even with a high powered blender.

Next add 1 peeled orange, plus 4 – 6oz Greek yogurt.

Put the lid on top, press “smoothie”, then let the blender do the work!

30 seconds later – voila! Sunrise Smoothie.

Pour into a cup and slurp on the go, or enjoy while you’re getting ready for the day. Tropical-tasting and perfectly sweet with a perfect, smooth and creamy consistency — it’ll power you way past lunchtime!

The color of that smoothie is so pretty!
Awesome smoothie (I make a similar one!) and awesome giveaway. Thanks!
Your photography is beautiful, it makes the smoothie look so scrumptious, I feel like I can just reach into the computer and take it off your table
considering my blender is my parents wedding gift blender (im 28 by the way so that REALLY ages the blender) i could use a new one! one that actually works well. haha.
We make smoothies all the time. I would love to have this blender. Ours is not quite so robust and we could make much smoother ones with a Blentec!
We have a Blendtec and absolutely LOVE it. It’s one of the best investments we’ve made and the proof is in the counter on the front display – were at 400+ after just 18 months!! Even the kids have fun coming up with new yummy (almost every time) combos of fruits and veggies. Can’t beat it!
P.S. I would LOVE to win this!!! :)
Such a beautiful Smoothie!! Can’t wait to try it,I LOVE Smoothies.I had major jaw surgery two years ago and two more since then, now dealing with braces too so I eat, or should I say drink ALOT of smoothies.Love all your smoothie recipes.Keep em’ coming!!
I want this blender so bad!! :) Your smoothie looks great!
i have been eyeing a blendtec for a while now! it was the top of my christmas list from my parents, but i recently had to tell them to return it and give me some cash to help out with my finances here lately instead. im so dissapointed that it wont be under the tree anymore but hoping that the giveaway might work out, or possibly saving up for it in a few more months! smoothies are such a good way to get in fruits and veggies for a low calorie meal- perfect for dropping a few pounds before my wedding!
What an awesome giveaway! :)
And that smoothie looks sooooo good! I must try it!
Love the blender. Love your site. Will try this recipe when I receive the blender.
Wow, this looks delicious! Other than subbing the Greek yogurt for a coconut milk yogurt, any suggestions for making this dairy free? :)
