Merry (post) Christmas!
Ben and I had a wonderful day at his Grandma’s house yesterday, surrounded by family. There was even a reindeer sighting!!
His Grandma lives a couple hours from us, so we headed home last night and exchanged gifts before going to bed. Favorites included a Pizza Pizzazz for him,
and a painting for her!!
I have one of those rare jewels of a husband who is one of the most thoughtful. people. ever. and I was sooooo touched that he made this.
It’s a replica of the picture we took at the Vatican Museum in Rome this fall! Isn’t that the sweetest thing?!
He is amazing. :) (ps this picture is also featuring the Cuddle Dud PJs my mother & father in law gave me for Christmas – warmest. pjs. ever. GET SOME!)
This morning we woke up to MORE snow. I feel like it hasn’t stopped in 3 days! Ben lost all his Christmas cheer at the sight.

We were up to head back to my parent’s house for the afternoon.
My little brother who lives in Denver is in town for Christmas and literally for the past two years, whenever he’s been home, Ben and I have either been vacationing IN Denver (so weird) or out of town somewhere else. I feel like I haven’t spent more than 24 hours with the boy in eons!
I just warmed up some Monkey Bread for breakfast,
(biscuit dough rolled in cinnamon and sugar then baked – omg)
(sugar/holiday food detox begins…tomorrow)
and we’re waiting for my older brother, sister-in-law & nephew to come over to open family gifts!
I can’t believe that Christmas 2010 is officially OVER. Every year it feels like it comes and goes even faster.
Hanging on to the spirit as long as I can. :D

Merry Christmas IGE! We’re getting a big storm here in Boston too! what a thoughtful gift from Ben. I got so many great presents including a new set of Cuisinart stainless cookware – 13 piece! Banana Republic Courds, Ralph Lauren Plaid rain boots, a photography taking class….(this all from my bf’s Mom + Dad) they are incredible gift givers. A new TV and DVD player for our bedroom are pretty nice too!
Santa brought me a panini maker! (You would’ve thought I’d died and went to heaven!) I told my family the first thing I want to make are the paninis you featured the other day (with apricot preserves, swiss cheese, ham & turkey). Can’t wait to try them out!
ADORABLE! What a thoughtful gift :-) We got no snow here in Dallas but it is cold! I think one of my favorite gifts from santa was a 2011 food network desk calendar that has a different recipe each day, and they are on index cards to keep in your kitchen! Too cool :-) You know you are a foodie when the scream for that calendar was a wee bit louder than the one from the blue ray player I got. haha!!
What an amazing present. Such thought, caring and LOVE went into that gift.You are one blessed young lady to have found such a wonderful husband.You are right about the sugar detox. I made an amazing white chocolate raspberry cheesecake that I can not leave alone. I have to face the scale at Topps on Thursday, not good. Take care.
How great you got to see your bro. I didn’t get to see mine this Christmas because he had to work, but hopefully he will be coming to visit in January and get to see the new baby.

That is the sweetest gift ever! I love it when tough manly men give romantic gifts:) My boyfriend got me a vegan cooking class!! I’m so excited.

OMG. My husband loves the pizza pizzazz too. Got one a while ago for Christmas and now hes on his second one because he uses it so much! Must be an Iowa thing. They are really hard to find around here. He needs a new one again and can’t find one anywhere! And my husband puts everything and anything on there for food! Crazy!
That’s what my face looks like every time it snows! I got a super-warm sleeping bag for camping!!
