I cannot tell you the number of recipes and projects my Mom has checked off her various Pinterest boards over the past couple of months. Each time I see her she tells me about the latest one in great detail then says, “Yep! Found it on Pinterest!” Like, it was Pinterest, all along. ?
That got me thinking about the recipes and ideas YOU are pinning from Iowa Girl Eats, so I dug up the 10 most popular pinterest recipes from IGE right now to share. (Well, technically nine recipes – check out the non recipe post that’s getting lots love on Pinterest right now, and my theory as to why!)
Truthfully, we are all cooking at home more than ever before and Pinterest is a great way to find recipes, organize the ones you want to tackle, and file away the recipes you’ve made. Circling back to my Mom, she has boards for recipes she wants to try, plus a board for those she’s tried and wants to make again. Well Mama, make room for a few more – here are the 10 IGE recipes that are going crazy on Pinterest right now!
Psst! You can pin any image on IGE by hovering your mouse over it (or clicking on the image if you’re on a cell phone) then clicking the pink “pin it” icon that pops up in the center of the photo.
Cheeseburger Quesadillas
Cheeseburger Quesadillas are as crispy, cheesy, and satisfying as they look. Plus that Special Sauce for dunking? OH MY. Yep, just decided I’m making these for dinner tonight!
One-Pot Chicken and Rice
One-Pot Chicken and Rice is definitely a mood. It’s the epitome of soul-satisfying comfort food, feeds an army, and reheats well too. Most importantly, all the ingredients are fridge and pantry staples.
5 Dream Kitchen Must-Haves
This obviously isn’t a recipe, but my 5 Dream Kitchen Must-Haves post is going crazy on Pinterest right now too! My theory is that everyone is stuck at home staring at the things they want to change about their kitchens, or making mental notes while taking virtual vacations on Zillow. Just me?
Mozzarella Bruschetta Chicken
Mozzarella Bruschetta Chicken is the summery escape we all need right now. So refreshing, and simple too – we’re talking about a cook time of less than 10 minutes.
Crock Pot Mojo Pork
Crock Pot Mojo Pork has been in my Top 10 pins since I first shared it five years ago. This is a “throw everything into the crock pot then push on” type recipe (translation: couldn’t be easier) and is SO good!
Thai Sticky Chicken Fingers
Thai Sticky Chicken Fingers are sticky, sassy, crunchy, and CRAVEABLE. Great for both kids AND adults. These take a little bit of time, which many of us seem to have more of these days, but are so so worth it.
Spicy Shrimp Soup
I made a double batch of Spicy Shrimp Soup a few weeks ago so we could reheat the broth then toss in shrimp at a moment’s notice the next time a craving hits. I love reading the comments on this post – those who have made it just really, really adore it. Warms my heart!
Almond Flour Chocolate Chip Cookies
Cam and I made a double batch of Almond Flour Chocolate Chip Cookies a couple weeks ago and I’m telling you – you just have to try them. Gwen especially goes CRAZY for them, plus they get better as they sit. We ate them for days and days and days afterwards! Pluuuus, since there’s no egg in the batter, you can eat it raw. You’re welcome.
Gluten Free Cinnamon Rolls
A lot of people are tackling baking projects they might not have made time for otherwise, which is why I think my Gluten Free Cinnamon Rolls are going gangbusters on Pinterest right now. Personally, I’ve made them three times in the past couple of months! Ben, hater of all gluten free baked goods, wolfs these down.
Mongolian Beef Noodle Bowls
I have no problem understanding why my gluten free Mongolian Beef Noodle Bowls are getting pinned, then re-pinned, then re-pinned again. They are a dead ringer for the real thing in a slurpable form. Upgrade! If you are having trouble finding beef, you can substitute with thinly sliced chicken breast.

I hope you love it! :)
These recipes look so delicious! Thank you for sharing these!
I deleted every chicken noodle soup and beef stew from my Pinterest account and only make your soup and Ben’s beef stew.
These recipes are definitely great, and, of course, I will be ready to try some of them little by little. They must be yummy.
I’ve said it 100 times, but the Italian Beef Sandwiches are always at the top of my Pinterest list! So easy and SO GOOD!! I ALWAYS send people the link when they ask “what should I make for supper??” :)
Love the mojo pork recipe. I know it’s an easy recipe, but it would be handy to have the cilantro lime rice recipe as a stand alone one. I always have to hunt to find the recipe is embedded in. I like to double check the ingredient measurements. Thanks for the great recipes!
