Thai Turkey Burgers with Peanut Sauce are a delicious twist on plain, dry turkey burgers. Juicy, tender, and full of flavor!

Time to get your burger fix in the form of Thai Turkey Burgers with Peanut Sauce — you will NOT miss the beef!

Made with lean ground turkey breast, tons of fresh herbs and veggies, plus a savory, mouthwatering peanut sauce, these burgers are hearty, filling and ultra-tasty. Plus they’re cooked in a skillet indoors, vs on the grill, so they can be enjoyed any time of year!

Start the Thai Turkey Burgers by making the peanut sauce which goes into the burger patties AND is slathered on top once they’re cooked.

To a food processor or blender add gluten free Tamari (or soy sauce if not gluten free), peanut butter, garlic, chili-garlic sauce, and ground ginger then blend until smooth.

Reserve part of the sauce to slather on top of the cooked burgers — the rest will add tons of flavor and moisture to the turkey burger patties.

Which is where we move to next!

To a large mixing bowl add 99% fat-free ground turkey breast plus shredded carrots and finely chopped broccoli. Since they’re finely shredded/chopped, the veggies will cook perfectly with the burgers.

Next add chopped green onion, chopped cilantro, and the remaining peanut sauce.

Lastly, add salt and red chili pepper flakes then mix everything up until just combined.

Form the mixture into 4 patties then cook for 3-4 minutes per side on a nonstick sprayed skillet over medium-high heat.

Toast up some buns then top with a cooked burger patty plus a drizzle of that luscious peanut sauce. Add crunchy lettuce leaves (I like fresh baby spinach), then dig in!

You will not believe these light, lean, and healthy burgers are turkey, and not beef. They are SO satisfying. Enjoy!

I am loving your recipes. I can’t wait to try it.

  2. James says:

if you substitute lime juice for the rice vinegar it will be a little more authentic – and tasty.

Jeans are worth paying more for. Although I’m not one to pay much more than $100 on a pair. Favorite cereal? Hmmm….probably a good granola. And oatmeal. : )

  4. kate says:

I don’t eat cereal, but I used to love LIFE!
Worth paying the extra $$$: face tissues (with lotion), shampoo/conditioner, cheese, and coffee.

  5. AC says:

shoes!!! Achy feet are SO not worth the savings… I’d rather pay more for quality! You can spend less, but they will fall apart sooner, so you just have to buy again… and its not worth the aches & pains- literally & figuratively!

we did that exact same thing with our grill cover! iowa wind blew it to bits – now we’re in kansas where its even worse, we invested in a canvas one from amazon.

I’m in Minnesota and we grill allllll winter!

Oh so many things are worth the extra money! First, Athleta or Lululemon workout clothes are the best! I refuse to buy any other brand, they last forever and you save money in the long run, pun intended. I wore these brands while training and running for the Chicago Marathon, the best!! Food for sure, I spend an obscene amount of money on food a month, but it is worth it. Finally, sheets for my bed. I spent a small fortune on a set we still have almost 8 years later, soft as can be and the most amazing quality. Worth every. single. penny.

Right now I love Special K Low Fat Granola (however when you eat half the box the low fat doesn’t really work out!). I have so many favorites it is hard to name one. Captain Crunch Crunch Berries have always been a favorite but I haven’t had them in years! Peanut Butter Crunch too. Yum! Loving the Whole Hearts too. Half a box gone in 2 days…oops!

  10. Michelle (Better with Berries) says:

This recipe is so creative! Looks like something I would love.

I always make sure to buy brand name lotion (specifically, St. Ives). Generic lotion is always oily or not moisturizing enough!

  11. Kaelin says:

My favorite cereal right now is Kashi Go Lean Crisp – Berry Crumble….. but my all time favorite is Lucky Charms.

  12. Shellee says:

    BBQ Cover!

    Darn “auto correct”!
