The biggest foodie holiday of the year is finally upon us – Thanksgiving! – so I thought I’d do a little wrap-up of my favorite turkey-day-friendly dishes for ya’.

What are you looking forward to gobbling down this Thanksgiving?
We have the tradition of doing anything BUT tradition on Thanksgiving. We pick a theme and then go all out. We’ve done BBQ, Italian, diner food (with sliders, onion rings and milkshakes), and several others.
This year it’s “Pancake Diner” – named after a game my kids like to play in our pretend kitchen area. I’m serving cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Then, for the main meal there will be: scones, muffins, egg casserole, ham, rolls, bacon, a pumpkin baked French toast dish, and of course…pancakes. I’m going to make several flavored syrups to enjoy. Dessert will offer up Ooey Gooey Pumpkin Butter Cake.
I can’t wait!!
