Pickle Wrap Dip turns your favorite poppable appetizer into a simple, craveable dip. This easy recipe is totally addicting and perfect for any potluck or get together!

“Would leave this 10 stars if I could! I’ve always loved pickle roll-ups but hate how time consuming they are to make. This version was done in less than 10 minutes! So tasty!”
If you live in the Midwest, chances are you know, love, crave, and are probably always subconsciously thinking about Pickle Wraps/Roll Ups.
If you’re not from the Midwest, this regional appetizer is thin slices of corned beef spread with cream cheese then rolled up with a dill pickle and sliced.
It sounds…nuts? But file this popular dish under “don’t knock it until you try it”. It didn’t reach legendary Midwestern snack for no reason!
Anyway, rolling and slicing those suckers up can be tedious and time-consuming. Problem solved with my chip-busting Pickle Wrap Dip.
This 10 minute recipe has all the cravable flavors of pickle wraps, in quick and easy dip form!

Easy Cream Cheese Dip
Pickle Wrap Dip falls into the category of throw stuff in a bowl then stir it and clearly I am here for it.
Cream cheese, sour cream, corned beef, minced pickles, and dried minced onion combine to create one of the best dip recipes EVER. Whip up 5 minutes before kick off or up to two days ahead of time. It’s fabulous right out of the gate, but like most dips, gets even better as it sits.
I like serving this hearty dip with sturdy tortilla chips, though pepper slices, cucumber slices, or crackers all work too.

How to Make Pickle Wrap Dip
Start by mixing 8oz softened cream cheese – 1/3 less fat or full fat – 8oz sour cream, and 1 Tablespoon dried minced onion in a large bowl until smooth.

Next add 6oz chopped corned beef – I use Buddig brand which is certified gluten free – and 1 cup minced pickles then fold to combine.

That’s all she wrote! Serve with tortilla chips or crudite then devour.
I hope you love this incredibly yummy, super easy dip recipe – enjoy!

Make it easier on yourself by using 2/3 cup of dill relish and 1 tablespoon of ranch dressing.
I use 2/3 cup dill relish
1 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
1 tablespoon Ranch dressing
6 ounces of Buding dried beef (diced)
Hi. I couldn’t get any buding corned beef. All I could get is buding beef. Will that still work. Thanks
Hi Marc! It should still work – the flavor will be different, but still good!
This is delicious! We love pickle wraps but they are a pain to make. This was so quick and easy to throw together.
Yes, total upgrade, right?! So glad you enjoyed!
To answer earlier commenters, this is great with Greek yogurt instead of the sour cream! We almost never use sour cream anymore but DANG if this wasn’t fantastic. I’ve had my eye on this recipe for awhile now, decided it would be Black Friday dinner along with a couple other dips…totally addictive and munchable!
I didn’t pick up enough corned beef so added some Applegate genoa salami. I also used dill pickle relish vs minced pickle. It worked!
That sounds delicious, Sue!
So glad you loved it, Beth! Thank you so much for your feedback and recipe rating!
I have a jar of pickles my mom canned last year. Now I know what I’m going to do with them! Thanks so much, as always, for your wonderful recipes. They never disappoint. xx
You are too kind, Ali – and the homemade pickle swap sounds fantastic!!
Wonderful dip recipe! I’ll probably “French” it up by using some “cornichons” — those cute little French sour pickles, because I simply love their intense (and not sweet) flavor. Thanks for this. In the file!
Sounds divine, Wini!!
This is my favorite holiday appetizer! I could eat the entire bowl by myself!
Totally relate – SO GOOD! Thank you so much for your feedback and recipe rating!
A classic Midwest favorite! I’ve loved this dip forever.

We had some left over, and used it as an amazing burger topping. It was a fun twist on a normal burger:)
Love pickle wrap dip! Substituted the corned beef with ham!
