Click for the Slimmed Down Buffalo Dip, and S’Mores on a Stick!***

Hi everyone, happy Friday!

Gosh, another week, and month, down the hatch. Can you believe it’s already February? Spring is right around the corner! We got a wonderful preview, with temps in the 50′s and 60′s this week, although it sounds like we might be in for snowmageddon later this weekend. Blerg.

In other news, KCCI went well this morning, I think! We made snacks for the Super Bowl including Slimmed Down Buffalo Chicken Dip, and S’mores on a Stick. ‘Cause nothing says game day like chocolate, marshmallow and graham crackers, don’t ‘ya know. ;)

Here’s the video, in case you’re curious!

In other news, I thought I’d wrap up Super Bowl Recipes Week with a few more dishes to make your spread the absolute ultimate. Whether you’re heading to a party, or hanging out at home, I hope you have a great time filled with good eats. And, holla if you can’t wait for that David Beckham commerical! ;)

Enjoy!

You used to have a different recipe for pulled pork sandwiches that included onion soup mix. Can you help me with ingredients and directions…I can’t find the recipe on your site.

Oh yeah…he totally likes you. :)

I was going to tell you that I’ve developed a cheater version of pickle roll-ups. I personally think they’re a huge P.I.T.A. to make, but I seem to be in charge of them for many gatherings so I had to find a trick. All I do is slice the pickles first, then glob a dollup of cream cheese on top of the pickle, then fold up I think 1/2 of a piece of meat, stick it on top of the cream cheese, and put a toothpick to keep it all together. So basically a “pickle skewer”. Tastes exactly the same and no rolling required. :)

I don’t live in Iowa but I like seeing your cooking segments they are soo cute and I agree with some other posters and their thoughts on Steve digging you,

However, if possible I think you should look at the camera more I think it would show more of your personality. Mostly all we see is your left side.

You are so good on tv girl, great job!!! Love the Greek yogurt in that buffalo chicken dip, such a great swap out. I’m making a pimento cheese today using it vs. mayo, that way I can eat twice as much, right? ;) Congrats on another great segment, perhaps you’ll be the next Pioneer Woman…!!

I am also an Iowa girl and am loving your blog. I stumbled upon it several weeks ago and have been hooked since. Your s’mores on a stick and corndog muffins are a big hit with my four year old son – with my hubby and I also. :-)

OMG those dips look insanely good. I made a gooey spinach dip for the game that was delish. The spinach rules out the cream cheese, right?

So I finally got around to making the Buffalo Chicken Poppers and they were a huge hit. So huge that I had to share them on my blog with my 3 faithful readers. Okay maybe I have 4, but who’s counting? Thanks for sharing and the next time you and the hubby get up to the TC, beers on me for this recipe! Cheers!
